"To Correct The Past and Protect the Future"
The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize the POW/MIA issue: To educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all previous wars, and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners Of War-Missing In Action. We are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars.
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is a non-profit organization and everyone donates his or her time because they believe in the POW-MIA issue that we are working on.
Welcome to the Rolling Thunder® Illinois Chapter Two web site. Rolling Thunder® is dedicated to keeping the Prisoner of War and Missing in Action issue in front of the public and politicians. Along with that we provide support for current veteran causes. Our chapter is made up of a diverse group of men and women, not all Veterans, but all dedicated to the cause. As a non-for profit 501c (4) organization we perform fundraising along with our public information events. We are not a motorcycle club, but many of us ride.
This is community service at its finest. With over 90,000 Americans who have not come home, you can imagine the number of family members across our nation affected. We simply can't allow them to be forgotten.
